1970 Schwinn Paramount

A classic 1970 Schwinn Paramount from my collection.  This bike has the Prugnat lugs that were only used from approximately 1969 through 1970.  The bike is equipped with early Campagnolo Nuovo Record components (no date code or Pat. date).  Also, Weinmann center pull brakes, Weinmann 27" rims, Regina Oro freewheel and chain, and, of course Brooks Professional saddle.  The bar end shifters were commonly used during this era, and are "Schwinn Approved".   Note the chromed-steel unmarked (but, of course, we know it is a Cinelli) stem.  Also, the Cinelli Giro D' Italia engraved, but non-anodized handlebars.  Nice Hunt Wilde matching Campus Green tape, and matching Silca Impero pump.  This bike is a TANK at nearly 25lbs, with pedals!
