Colnago Profil CX circa 1982 in chromovelato red. This frame has profiled top tube and down tube with aero profiled seat stays and fork. The frame has a full chromed rear triangle and chromed head lugs. The bike has a complete pantograhped Campagnolo Colnago Super Record group including pantographed milled Mexico Colnago crankset, pantographed shifters, brake levers, milled brake calipers, pantographed seat post and stem. Bottom bracket is Campagnolo Super Record with titanium spindle. Seat is Selle Concor SuperLeggera. Freewheel is Regina Oro and chain is Regina Record Oro. Weight of bike is 19.6 lbs with pedals.
Awesome Colnago! I have a Profil CX as well. Unsure of the year. Shifters were originally done differently as the cables ran inside the down tube. Also mine doesn't have the full chrome rear triangle, but is Chromovelato Red as well. The previous owner of mine converted it to Campy Ergo shifters and Veloce 9 speed rear cassette. Profile CXs don't seem to be that popular. Once again you have an awesome Colnago!
