This is my 1979 Austro Daimler Vent Noir II. This bike has what Austro Daimler called a "smoked chrome" finish and is wearing its original decals. The Vent Noir II originally came with a Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport group. This bike was completely upgraded to a circa 1979 Campagnolo Nuovo Record group and is in virtually new condition. Stay tuned for other Austro Daimlers including an NOS Vent Noir with black Dura Ace and an ultra light weight Ultima Superleicht project.
Welcome to my vintage bike blog. I will be featuring some of the 50 or so bikes from my collection as time permits. My collection consists of Italian vintage bikes from Colnago, Cinelli, Masi, Bianchi, Gios, Olmo, Geurciotti, Basso, Grandis, Pogliaghi, and Tommasini. I also own several Zeus (Spain), Austro-Daimlers (Austria), Schwinn Paramounts (USA) Merciers (France), a Liberia (France), a Raysport (Mexico), a Windsor (Mexico), and a Trek (USA).
