This is one of my current projects, a Falcon San Remo, designed by Ernie Clements. This one is a late 1960's bike, maybe 1967 or '68. Falcon had many variations on the San Remo, with little info on the 1960's models that I could find. This one is built with Reynolds 531, with Campagnolo dropouts, and came wearing Weinmann tubular rims laced to Campagnolo Record hubs, Cinelli stem and alloy Giro d' Italia handlebar, Campagnolo old-record derailleurs, Campagnolo Record bottom bracket, Campagnolo <c> headset, Weinmann Vanquer center pull brakes, Campagnolo 151bcd Record crankset, Campagnolo Record seatpost, and a Brooks Professional saddle.
To me, this is a really beautiful frame, I love the Royal Blue against the classic powder blue accents, chrome Nervex head tube lugs, full wrap-over seat stays, chrome rear triangle, combined with the full-chrome sloping crown Cinelli-style fork. You gotta love that head badge. I will post the finished bike at a later date, but here is the frameset, ready to build up:
